TIME TO THINK
Times tables practice without a timer
Start with six questions and take the time you need. There is no countdown in this tool. Use a chart, draw groups or say a known fact aloud before writing your answer.

Choose a manageable set
The starter uses six questions from the 6 times table, with second factors 1–12. This page keeps that focus; choose other tables in the full worksheet generator. A smaller count leaves fewer facts to work through at once.
Use “Generate new questions” to apply changed settings. Print the current sheet and keep the key for checking afterward. Pause or stop when needed; the sheet does not need to be finished in one sitting.
Use a hint, then try again
For 6 × 8, use 5 × 8 = 40 and add another 8: 48. Draw six rows of eight marks and separate five rows from the sixth. Or look it up on the reference chart, then cover the chart and explain the fact.
Mark answers found with a chart or hint differently from independent answers. Both are useful practice, but a correct answer with support does not show independent recall yet.
Check and choose one fact to revisit
Compare each answer with the key. For an error, rebuild the groups or use a related fact to explain the correction. Pick one or two facts for another day and record the method that helped on the weekly handwritten record.
Adjust the count and the pace to the learner. For school-specific needs or assessment arrangements, speak with the teacher.
