What the check involves

The 2027 arrangements specify 25 timed onscreen questions on tables up to 12. Current administration guidance gives three practice questions, six seconds per answer and a three-second pause between questions. That guidance still covers 2026 and is due for an April 2027 update; recheck it before the check.

Read the official administration guidance for the current process. The school confirms participation and access arrangements for each pupil.

What to recheck next

The 2027 calendar schedules IT guidance for 2 November 2026 and administration guidance for 26 April 2027. The Times Tables Printable team maintains this page; those are the next review points. Follow the official MTC collection for updates.

Use paper for fact practice

Choose a few facts on the Year 4 worksheet page. Explain a strategy, try the fact without a hint, and check the answer afterward. A printed sheet cannot reproduce the official timed screen process. The school’s official “try it out” session is the place to become familiar with input and access arrangements.

Try a short untimed session if a countdown gets in the way of explaining a fact. There is no predicted MTC score or official simulation on this page.
